Mid-Continental U.S. – Preliminary Solstice Data

On 5/29/23, I began to collect images from my 8-Point Stone model and make general notes on compass readings. The alignment of the model was made to the same headings as the stone in Nova Scotia, which are slightly offset.

It did not take very long to note that the suns movements followed a pattern and with some use, one could see a replication of compass headings to key areas of the stone.
